transfering a domain

  If I transfer my domain from my current site, will I have a problem with having to be without a website until the new one is completed?

  Hi,

  No worries, you can work on your site using the free .wordpress.com subdomain and only map or transfer your custom domain once you’re ready.
  That way you can keep the old site online and switch to the new one when it’s finished :)
