Transfering a Wix domain

Hello. I’ve first purchased my domain at Wix.com but I want to transfer it WordPress. They send me this code [redacted by staff] . Where should I enter it as to complete the transference?

Although you can register new domains here at WordPress.com, we’re not able to accept incoming transfers of existing domain names. Therefore, we recommend that you keep the name registered at Wix. You can use the domain for your site here at WordPress.com by mapping the domain, as explained here: Map an Existing Domain

Hi.
The problem is that when I asked Wix, they said it is not possible to change the domain’s name servers. They said I would just have to give this code to WordPress.
Is there another way of fixing that? I’ve already paid for mapping na existing domain.

It sounds like the Wix support team doesn’t know that WordPress.com can’t accept incoming domain transfers. To use your domain registered elsewhere with a WordPress.com site, you will need to change your domain’s settings to point it here at WordPress.com.
One option is to transfer your domain from Wix to another domain registrar that allows you to change the domain’s name servers. Then, you can make that change to map your domain here.
If you want to keep your domain registered at Wix, and they won’t let you change your domain’s name servers, another option is to point your domain to WordPress.com using A records. However, please note that our IPs change over time. Because of this, your domain might stop working at some point in the future. If that happens, please get in touch with us to find out the most current IPs and then update your A records accordingly.
If you want to go ahead and map your domain using A records, please be sure to create at least two, pointing to two different IPs from the list below:
- 76.74.254.120
- 76.74.254.123
- 192.0.80.250
- 66.155.9.238
- 66.155.11.238
- 192.0.81.250
