Transfering a wordpress template

  Hi!

  We have a question. We need to creat a wordpress website in a subdomain and then transfer that WordPress template to the main domain. Can I do that tranfering the files via FTP? Is there any problem doing that?

  There is no FTP access to our free hosted WordPress.com blogs. Also note that there is no upgrade you can purchase that allows FTP access and the ability to install themes or plugins. Those with WordPress.org installs have FTP access and can install their own themes, third party themes and plugins. Please read this comparison > http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  The question was about a wordpress in a independent host, not in the WordPress hosting….

  Anyone?
