Transfering blog – general option problem

  Hello,
  I gained my blog (and adress) from one man. http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/07/22/how-do-i-transfer-a-blog-to-someone-else-another-name/. So my blog was transferred. The action was pretty clear, but in Options – General Options is still email adress of man, who gave me the blog. I tried to change it to my email adress but with no effect. There is still not my adress. I am afraid a little bit of it, because there is written something about administration and so on. Is this problem? How can I fix it? Thank you!
