You can transfer a WordPress site hosted on GoDaddy to us by following the guide at https://wordpress.com/support/moving-from-self-hosted-wordpress-to-wordpress-com/

Ah, ok, that is not a WordPress site hosted on GoDaddy, instead it’s built with GoDaddy’s site builder.
We don’t have a direct importer for that, but we do have some recommendations at https://transferto.wordpress.com/drag-and-drophtml-site-builders/
-
Thank you. So basically I have to build the site from scratch with the data from my current site. I can’t just import the site as is right now?
-
Correct, since there’s really not a standard format for importing it. If you’d like, though, we do have a service that can likely set it up for you. Just be sure to mention your current site and its content.
One tip, too: when you create new pages, try to be sure they have the same names. Such as Programs, About, etc. Then when you publish them and go live with the same domain name, links to the old site will still work.
Hoping that helps! And you’re welcome to send in any other questions you have.

a few other questions:
what’s the most efficient and cost effective way to create a new site on Word Press, transfer my current domain name?
i also have a theme that i purchased from fly themes that i would to upload to word press. but I can’t figure out how to do it. iption are not coming up. is this because i am trying to do it on a free site?

For the domain, it’s more a personal preference type of thing, really.
Domain Connection allows you to keep the domain registered with your current domain registrar and direct it to your WordPress.com site: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/connect-existing-domain/
A transfer would allow to manage both your site and domain from the same place: https://wordpress.com/support/move-domain/incoming-domain-transfer/
So, basically, are you an “all of your eggs in one basket” type of person, or “not all of your eggs in one basket”? :)
Both will require a paid plan, any paid plan: https://wordpress.com/pricing/
You will need a paid Business or eCommerce plan to add third-party themes (like those purchased from fly themes) to your site: https://wordpress.com/support/themes/uploading-setting-up-custom-themes/
With that said, we do have hundreds of themes available, no paid plan required: https://wordpress.com/themes
-
Thank you. I want my website in one place. So I think a transfer would be best.
Got it on the themes.
If I want to offer my members a paid monthly subscription can that be done via a free plan or do I have to go to a paid plan?
-
You’ll use a Premium Content block for that, which requires any paid plan: https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/premium-content-block/
For more details, please see https://memberships.blog/
-
Got it. Thank you.
So do I transfer the domain over first and build the site after it’s transferred? Or do I build the site and then transfer the domain? And will the transfer affect my sites workability?
And will my email address connect to my site now be able to stay the same?
-
Hi there,
You will want to move your domain at the end, after you have given yourself time to import all content over to your WordPress.com site and have it set up as you like. When you are ready for the public to see the site you have here (and there is nothing more you need from the existing site) then you can connect your custom domain by following the steps here: https://wordpress.com/domains/add/
Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.

Ok. I have another question. I started putting together my website and I used a free theme from Word Press but I can’t figure out how to make additional pages. I’ve created the home page and page buttons but I can’t figure out how to open another page to start adding content. Who can help?
-
Hi,
Here is a support document that will explain how to do that.

Please take a look and let us know if you have trouble or other questions.
