transfering content from a go daddy site

Can you tell me what you were working on, and what is gone?
I had a look at your site’s logs, and the only thing that appears to have been deleted (around an hour ago) is the default “Hello World” post your site was created with.

I had downloaded the Marl theme and was working on that. I did the whole home page to look like my site that I’m going to transfer over from go daddy. It looks like the home page from this site: http://www.taraleegerson.com

Can you remember what you did right before the content disappeared? For example, did it happen when you clicked the Update button in the editor? Did you perhaps close or refresh the Editor tab without clicking Update first?
And were you editing it from Pages ->All Pages, or from Appearance ->Editor?
Your Home page in the editor under Pages is completely blank, and has no revision history which indicates either you’ve never added content to that page, or the browser window was closed before that content was saved. If the content you’d added wasn’t saved, I’m afraid there’s no way to get it back.
The content you do see on the page right now was added directly to the theme’s Header section in the site editor at Appearance ->Editor. So that text will appear on every post and every page on your site. But is also the only custom content I see in the site editor (I checked all the different templates for your theme), so if you’d been working there, the work also wasn’t saved before the browser was closed/refreshed, and I’m afraid we have no way to get it back in that case either.

I don’t know. I swore I was not going to navigate away from the page until I published because I was worried about losing the work.
I was not on a typical page though. I was able to maneuver around pretty easily, creating different boxes and copying and pasting.
I didn’t have an “update” option only a “save” option. I also looked through my browser history and it’s not showing that history, only the same thing that you are seeing.
I also thought I uploaded the theme but it’s not showing uploaded only that I chose it.
This is why I left Word Press the last time. They make it so confusing.

Depending on the content, you can copy blocks (to paste into a page/post) as shown here:
You can also copy all content within the block editor, as outlined here: https://wordpress.com/support/copy-a-post-or-page/#copy-all-content
If you choose to copy all content from the site editor and paste it into a page/posts, please be mindful of any template parts that are copied over — you’ll want to remove those and only preserve your content.
