transfering domain
-
to start off, I would like to transfer my domain from yahoo (currently Aabacco Small Business) to WordPress. I have followed all of the steps provided to me by Yahoo and now I need to contact someone at wordpress to give them my EEP code and complete the transfer, But there are no numbers to call. Who do I contact, or how do I complete this process.
Secondly, yahoo told me to change my yahoo name servers to the wordpress name server but I am not sure what that is. ns1.wordpress.com?
Lastly, I have registered with wordpress, but not actually paid for my website package yet, if that matters.
Thanks! The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
I’m afraid it’s not possible to transfer a domain to us – WordPress.com cannot accept incoming domain transfers at this stage. So you will need to leave the domain registered with Yahoo, or transfer it to a different registrar, and point it to us by changing the name servers instead.
The name servers you need to use are:
NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
NS3.WORDPRESS.COM
You will also need a domain mapping upgrade to connect the domain on our side. That upgrade is included in all our plans, so first add a paid plan at My Site ->Plans, and then you’ll be able to add the domain mapping upgrade at My Site ->Domains:
Use a Domain You Already Own (Domain Mapping)
Let me know if you have any questions about this.

Wonderful. That worked.. Thank you. I transfered my domain from yahoo to godaddy, then I entered the name servers you gave me and my domai now directs to my wordpress site which I am building. Now I just have one more problem:
I have a yahoo email account that was associated with my domain ((email visible only to moderators and staff)). It no longer works. Go daddy support said that if I can edit my DNS server in WordPress and add my old yahoo MX record then it will begin to work. I have the MX recod but do not know how to get to this area in wordpress.
How do I edit my DNS info and add my MX record? and will this even fix my problem?
Thanks again!! -
You can edit your domain’s DNS from My Site ->Domains:
Add Email through other providers
I’m also happy to add the MX records for you if you can tell me what they are, but you should be able to add them yourself.
