Transfering domain

  Hi WP Support,

  I would like to transfer my domain from WordPress.com hosting to BlueHost.com

  I deleted my WordPress hosted page and domain already from WordPress yesterday, so I can’t recover it.

  Please:
  – Unlock my domain
  – Send me the domain’s EPP code so I can transfer to BlueHost

  Thanks or the reply.

  I have seen these tutorials, my problem is different as my Domain is parking as I already deleted it from WordPress. So I don’t see anymore the options these Tutorials show.

  Hi again,
  You should not delete a site , as the transfer of domain becomes a problem , the staff will have to check the registrar, for the domain status and should be able to update. Do share the URL of the domain , and we can tag the staff ahead to help you further. You might have to make a demo site to get it activated and then follow the steps to transfer it outside WordPress. Hope to hear back and help you further.

  the domain is: backtopanda.com

  I am okay is its recovered to set up demo site and transfer after.

  Hi Daniel,

  You cancelled the domain backtopanda.com on 2017-03-24, which is why you are having trouble transferring it.

  There are two options:

  1. Because the domain was cancelled so quickly, it should be released again in around 5 business days. You can then register it through Bluehost if you wish.

  2. I can try to restore the domain for you. The domain costs haven’t been refunded yet so there will be no additional charge.

  You will need to create a new site under the same account — which I can restore the domain to. After 60 days the domain can be transferred to Bluehost. Until then, you can point the nameservers to your Bluehost site.

  I checked this morning and the domain is now in the process of being released — it happened quite quickly in this case. At this time we are no longer able to recover the domain and you should be able to purchase it elsewhere shortly.
