transfering domain

  hi .. i currently have a domain with wix for nicolettequittner.com i want to keep this domain but i want to switch to using wordpress … can you help me with this process? i dont want to make a mistake and i want to make sure i wont be paying two sites for a domain?

  Hi @nicolettequittnermedia, we’d be happy to help. Do you want to get your content transferred here first and set up your site, then move the domain over?

  If so, I’d recommend these steps:

  I’d go ahead and buy a plan, but skip the custom domain until you’re ready to publish the site. Then, contact support (you’ll have direct access with a paid plan) and we’ll help you get the domain transferred or mapped here. And of course you’re welcome to contact support before then too, as needed.
