Transfering domain from 123

    Hello,
    I have purchased a domain name on 123 as well as email address.
    Now I would like to transfer everything to WordPress so i can manage everything in one place. What do I need to do? I have been told to use a complimentary WordPress domain name. If I purchase WordPress.com Starter using my current domain, would the transfer be done for me?

    Hi there,

    The WordPress.com Starter Plan will allow you to use a custom site address with email (3 months complimentary) as well the domain transfer will be included for free.

    Once you have set up your site here and applied the upgrade, you can import content from your existing WordPress site by following these steps: https://wordpress.com/support/import/import-a-sites-content/

    Note that this will not result in an exact copy of your existing site, but will only import your contents (pages, blog posts, uploaded media, etc.) so you can get a head start with setting up the site using the pre-installed themes we offer on this end.
