Transfering Domain Name from WordPress User to WordPress User

  I want to transfer my domain name from one WordPress users account to another WordPress users account. I have already gotten the transfer code sent to the new wordpress user. But The new wordpress user can not find out how to claim the domain name.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  JeanineAThriver owns a wordpress blog jeanineablogger2.wordpress.com that blog has a custom domain JeanineABlogger.com

  JeanineABlogger owns a wordpress blog Jeanineablogger.wordpress.com that blog does not have a custom domain.

  I want to transfer ownership of the custom domain JeanineABlogger.com from JeanineAThriver to JeanineABlogger

  then I want the domain name JeanineABlogger.com to be connected to the domain name Jeanineablogger.wordpress.com

  Is that specific enough. If you need any other information please let me know. Thanks

  You will need to transfer site ownership from one user name to another. Here is how to do that: https://en.support.wordpress.com/transferring-a-site-to-another-wordpress-com-account/view-all/

  To connect your domain names, you’ll have to do a site redirect. Here’s how to do that: https://en.support.wordpress.com/site-redirect/

  ah thanks!

  Well now I have two blogs with almost the same name. And the domain name is connected to the wrong blog name. Now the right blog name is pointed to the domain name.

  For it all to be cleaner I would like to remove the domain name from the wrong blog, add it to the right blog, and then delete the wrong blog name.

  But…..

  that just might be too picky….

  And….

  This does functionally do what I wanted.

  So. That is what I meant by I will take it.
