Transfering Domain Questions

    I had a premium account with WordPress.com but because of wanting to grow my blog, I decided to transfer my domain (www.afterschoolspecialwithsydney.com) to BlueHost, however they are saying that the domain is owned my automattic and that is you. So I would like to know what I need to do to take care of this ASAP. Thanks.

    Hi there,

    Three hours before posting in this thread you were in a live chat with us and asked us to cancel your Premium Plan and domain for a full refund. Therefore you no longer own the domain. You cannot transfer what you don’t own.

    I see from the transcript that the person to whom you chatted also warned you that the domain might not be available immediately, and you confirmed that you wanted to cancel it.

    You can either wait a few days until the registrar hopefully releases the domain, at which point you can register it with Bluehost. Or I can send you a link to pay for the domain again, after which I can restore it to your account. Then you can map it to Bluehost, and transfer it away from us once you’ve owned it for 60 days.
