Transfering domain too early from Go Daddy now locked out

    I have been working on building my website, but it hasn’t been launched. I was in the back end of the settings and typed in the domain that I already purchased from Go Daddy that I want to use. However, Go Daddy said I cannot transfer the domain until 60 days is up and I am on day 32. When I typed this domain in, I am now locked out and customer service says that Google has my files? I tried calling Google but the number they gave me is invalid. WordPress shows that I have no sites now. And I do. Please help!

    Hey there @ciarajo21, we’ll help you get it straightened.

    If it’s too early to transfer, you can still point the domain here like this:
    https://wordpress.com/support/domains/connect-existing-domain/

    That would just require updating the domain settings. It would take a few hours to take effect. You can transfer later.

    Regarding being locked out and google having your files, I think their CS might be confused about what you’re trying to do, but just so we’re all on the same page before I add to any confusion, can you clarify what you are hoping to do?

    Are you trying to connect a GoDaddy domain to a site you built here on our service?
