Transfering from .com to .org
-
Hello I attempting to self host my blog using blue host. I have a WordPress.com site (chicsavant.com) – domain purchased through WordPress. I have purchased a domain on Bluehost and installed WordPress with their “one click” option.
I want to be able to develop my new theme on WordPress.org, but when I try to log into my account (from Bluehost), it directs me immediately to my WordPress.com site.
Question 1: How do I find my .org site (domain is also satinandsnowflakes.com)and log into it to upload my new theme?
Question 2: Is there a way to keep the .com site live until I am finished with my .org site?
Blog url: http://chicsavant.wordpress.com/The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi!
This is likely because your DNS cache is still seeing the previous name servers (WordPress.com), so it can take some time for DNS changes to propagate.
I just checked your domain and it points to your Bluehost blog from my end, so you can try flushing your DNS cache to see if your blog loads from your new host.

Since your domain is already pointing to Bluehost, I’m afraid there isn’t.
However, for your WordPress.com blog, you can go to Store -> Domains, and change your primary domain to http://chicsavant.wordpress.com/ so your WordPress.com blog will load.
Let me know if you have any other questions!
