Transfering GSuite Workspace to Google

    Hello, my colleague has been in touch recently about transferring the GSuite ownership from WordPress (Automattic) to be directly managed by Google. The instructions he was provided indicated that we needed to cancel the GSuite subscription here. How then do we transfer the ownership to Google? And is there any risk of service interruption or data loss?

    Any guidance on this would be appreciated, thank you!

    Hi Ben, after cancelling here, the user who owns the account will get an email from Google asking if they’d like to keep the subscription with them. It will prompt them to set up billing there.

    If they’ll do that there shouldn’t be any issues with transferring the license. Hoping that helps!
