Transfering hosting from godaddy

    I purchased a WP plan to leave behind Godaddy, but I fear in transferring my domain, I’ll lose my site. I need some help making sure I can transition smoothly without destroying everything (especially right before Xmas!) Any articles or step by steps would be super appreciated.

    Hi there,

    To explain the process, it’s best if you first create a new (empty) site to import your GoDaddy site content into. You can do that and get set up and make sure that the new site is to your liking.

    Once you have everything ready on this end, you can then safely transfer the domain, secure in the knowledge that the site you are moving it to already has a full copy of your contents safely stored there.
