Transfering My Blog

  Hi,

  Is it an easy thing to do if I want to transfer everything to a wordpress.org site? I’m thinking of moving all my posts and etc. to them instead. I read somewhere that there’s a “guided transfer” that you can pay wordpress to do for you. I couldn’t find this option under their store. Is this something they don’t offer anymore?

  Anyways, I would rather do it myself, but is it a complicated and risky thing to do? Is it guaranteed to work? I haven’t set up an account with wordpress.org yet, but I wanted to know if it’s feasible first.

  Here are the steps involved with transferring your site to wordpress.org: https://move.wordpress.com/

  It’s not risky because your old site stays active until you’re happy with its new home.
