Transfering my domain name

  Hi. I have just applied to transfer my domain name from wordpress to godaddy. I am starting my own home business and want to call my godaddy website Bellbird Words, and within the site have a link though to my WP blog (or incorporate the blog into the site as a page.)However, if I just want people to come to the blog NOT via my work website, what can I do (given that the domain name will have been transferred)? What web address would they enter? Hope this makes sense.

  Also, what implications does the domain transfer have for people who are already following bellbirdwords? Will they still be able to find my blog? What about my facebook page, which links to my blog? etc etc. Thanks.

  Just had a thought: Will (email visible only to moderators and staff) still work?

  Yes if you transfer out your domain, your WordPress.com site will still be available at:

  bellbirdwords.wordpress.com
