Transfering my website

Hi my knowledge in web building is minimal. I had somebody build me a website. He transfered me the domain and now i own the domain thru godaddy.

He build the website with wordpress, how can i transfer the website so i could keep maintining it myself?

Hi Isaac, do you have access to the backend or did the developer retain access?
If you had access but lost it, are you using /wp-admin to log in?
If that isn’t working, your developer may be able to help, or your host can help you make backups and use one of these recovery options:
