transfering my wordpress blog to another username…not working

  I went through the process of transferring one blog to another username/account. I followed the directions, clicked my email confirmation, but it has not shown up under the new username yet. Why?

  I am transferring http://www.prisonviolence.wordpress.com to username/account: @prisonviolenceblog

  Please help me figure this out. Thanks.

  The issue is likely that the account you are posting from is not the owner of the site you are trying to transfer.

  So you must have ended up with a second WordPress.com account at some point. You will need to log into the other account in order to transfer the site.
