Transfering posts from another blog

Hello everyone,
I was trying to import several XML files exported from another WordPress site. I cutted them into small files because I was having some issues at importing 2111 posts.
Three days ago I uploded my first XML file. All went OK and I’m able to see the posts on the WordPress dashboard. My problem is that I want to import all the others XML files but I get the following error message (Sorry for writing it in French)
: “Importation WordPress
En cours…
Votre importation est en cours de traitement et un email vous sera envoyé lorsque tout sera terminé. Si vous n’avez pas de nouvelles de nous dans les 24 heures, veuillez contacter le support, nous fixerons le problème.”

This is not really an error message, but one letting you know that the import is being processed and can take up to 24 hours. I assume then that you haven’t received the email saying that the import is complete so I’ve tagged this for Staff attention for you.

@elcaminante2015, it appears to have been hung up on a comment.
I’ve reset the importer for you. Can you try making an export file again, this time removing any unmoderated spam comments first? You will also want to be sure the images at your old host are accessible.
If it still does not import for you, please attach the XML file here and we’ll try again from our end.

I cannot import a 11,6 MB file. I’m posting it to you. If you are able to do it, would it be possible to delete all the current entries?

@elcaminante2015 we can. Do you want me to empty out all of the posts then try to import this file? If I empty them that cannot be undone, so please confirm.

Actually the XML file seems to have an error. Can you try the steps I recommend earlier, by removing any pending spam (or purely spam) comments and exporting again?

OK, @elcaminante2015, the file I saw still mentioned an error. I’ll try splitting it and importing anyway. Please give us a few hours to do this.

@elcaminate2015 I’m still getting stuck with the comments on one of the posts. I’ve empted the site again and will have a developer take a look.

@elcaminante2015, our developers confirmed the export file is broken. There’s obvious spam on this post:

Some of the comments are tens of thousands of lines long, all repeating. These and other spammy comments seem to breaking your export.
Please clear out the spam, export again, and if you have trouble importing the clean file, let us know and we’ll try from our end.
