transfering site built on weebly
-
The site is built on weebly via a reseller (flipcause). It has a blog, google calendar, sign up form, small store and several information pages. Mostly html, css and js.
I have a zip file archive (1500+ files).
I want to rebuild it off flipcause, but weeebly doesn’t support importing the zip. Attempting to create xml using https://weeblytowp.com/ failed with ‘could not find anything’. No way to turn off ssl on flipcause (not even clear if it’s enabled on the website).
The site is maintained by non-profit volunteers without web dev experience. Searching for weebly import plugins on WP only produced one outdated ‘lite’ app.
Anyone have pointers on how to resolve this in a way that could be maintained by volunteers? signup form is mailchimp, used for membership and weekly eNews, a few blog posts each week, shared to social media channels.Self-declared URL: underwoodhills.org

We can only help with sites running on the wordpress.com platform. If you do a search in our extensive documentation you find all info at https://wordpress.com/support/import/import-from-weebly/

Thanks, that links to the help guide I used, which appears to be out of date and didn’t work for me. If you know of any more current info please let me know.
