Transfering subscribers

  I have been searching all over and I cannot find the answer…although I’m SURE it’s here somewhere.

  I just moved from wp.com to self-hosted (hostgator) wp.org. my site has been redirected to the new server, but I did a test post from the new site, and non of my subscribers received a notification.

  I this something that I can do on my own, or do I need to pay for support to move them for me?

  Provided you have installed and activated the JetPack plugin http://jetpack.me on your WordPress.org install, and you post the relevant URL(s) into a forum thread, Staff will do the transfer of both subscribers and stats for you. http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/moving-your-subscribers/#wordpress-com-to-self-hosted-site Do that now please as I have tagged this thread for their attention.

  I do have jetpack installed and the url is http://www.lollypaper.com

  Hi there,

  It looks like you set up Jetpack before you had your domain lollypaper.com set up with your WordPress.org site. Can you please disconnect Jetpack in your WordPress.org dashboard and then reconnect it? That will refresh the connection and make sure your subscribers end up in the right place.

  Then I can take care of moving your subscribers for you. Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)
