Transfering wordpress.com to self hosted site – Godaddy.com

    I’m having problems transferring my wordpress blog to go daddy. I put in the correct name server on wordpress but it’s not connecting. Go Daddy told me to “refresh DNS”, no idea what that means. They also said it can take up to 48 hours but typically its about 2-4 hours. Also, if you go on my website right now, it takes forrreverrrr to load. Go daddy said this is not normal during the process. Another thing they mentioned was something about changing my IP address from my blog? I read that transferring my domain to go daddy can help this problem but I just bought this domain from word press not even a month ago and the requirement is to have it open for about 60 days. I would appreciate any help. I need to move out of wordpress because I would like the plug ins and I just got accepted with Yahoo ads and Google Adsense which can’t be used on wordpress.com.
