Transferred domain to new registrar but still shows up in WordPress

  I have transferred my WordPress domain to Go Daddy but I still find the domain name listed in the WordPress Admin area. I also find that although the domain name now points to my Go Daddy server, it sporadically reverts back to showing the old site. Perhaps deleting the old one from WordPress would correct this. Any help would be much appreciated.

  If you just changed the name servers is can take 24 to 72 hours for changes to reach the far corners of the internet

  deleting anything at WordPress.COM will not fix anything

  Hi quixoticsemiotic – I see it was successfully transferred, so I’ve removed the record of it from our end. It’s likely that it showing your old site was some kind of cacheing issue, however.
