Transferring a blog to a new Account

I started a blog for a friend, and it is linked to my account, then I thought it should be separate, so that they can have access if they wish to the stats page.
I had asked this question and got an answer about starting a new acct and transferring the blog to the new account,
Now the question that was not answered is when I go to the page to open the new account it wants the name of the blog:
but also says you can sign up just for a username, is this what I do since I am going to move an existing blog? Since you cannot duplicate blogs names?I want to move the new blog cvillesmokeshop.wordpress.com to a new account

When we register a username account here the email address we provide becomes our unique identifier. When we are logged into WordPress.com and register a blog it’s registered to that username account we are logged in under and to the email address which is our unique identifier. We can register as many blogs as we wish and provided we are using the same username account then all the blogs will be registered under it and the associated email account.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/email-address/In order to completely separate the blogs that are not associated with each other you register another username account using a different email address when you are logged out of WordPress.com. http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/ Then you add the new username account as an official user of the blog, and designate them (ie. you) as an Admin. I did go to gmail and made another separate gmail address for the blog I am making.I have read over this several time and now it makes sense so I am on the right track, so many thanks!
