Transferring a blog to a NEW account with the SAME name?

  Hi there.

  So I offered to set up a word press for my friend’s small business, and I made a blog using the name they wanted on my own account (kiss48films) thinking it would reserve the name (BonaVidaHB) until we met and could set up there account (Which should also be BonaVidaHB and separate from mine).To my shock and horror, it appears that I can’t delete the blog from my account! Which means in trying to save the name, I’ve actually prevented us from using it!

  I see both “Transfer Blog” and “Create a new user to match the new blog name” (under change blog address) but neither one will let me create a NEW ACCOUNT (BonaVidaHB) with the SAME NAME as the blog (BonaVidaHB), and I don’t see a way to delete the blog to free the name up for me to do so manually. Any advice?

  You are going to have to contact staff on this, but I expect they can get it sorted out for you.

  Just search for anything and after the search scroll to the bottom and click the “no” button and the contact form will appear.

  Oh, and do NOT delete the blog.
