Hi there.
First, you can’t transfer your domain, as WordPress.com doesn’t accept incoming domain transfers. You’ll need to keep your domain at your current registrar (or transfer it to another registrar if you’re not happy with the current one’s service) and then buy the domain mapping upgrade for whichever free WordPress.com site you want to use with that domain. In other words, you’ll pay your domain registrar annually for the domain, and WordPress.com for the mapping upgrade.

Once you’re sure everything has been transferred, you can cancel your hosting for the old site: https://en.support.wordpress.com/import/
