transferring a domain

I have been trying to transfer my domain name to Shopify. The first two attempts ended in it being unable to transfer. I received a couple of emails from WordPress, one saying that it was denied because of express written objection. The second email said denied because of private registration. I just attempted again to get an authentication code and nothing comes through. I just don’t know what is happening and what I need to do to get it transferred.
