Transferring a domain

  Hi,
  I would like to transfer my website domain from Wix to wordpress. I would like to transfer the whole website and not lose anything. Is this possible?
  Also, do you offer a feature which allows us to set up events with ticket options?

  To import your Wix site to WordPress.com, you can follow the steps here:

  We will attempt to import as much of your content as possible, but there is some functionality we don’t support quite yet so you may have additional work to do to replicate your site here.

  We cannot accept incoming domain transfers from .org.au domains, but you should be able to use the domain here at WordPress.com by upgrading to a WordPress.com plan on your site (Personal, Premium Business plan, or eCommerce.) then add domain mapping to use your domain here.

  If you need to transfer your domain away from Wix, you need to find a domain registry that can accept .org.au domains.

  Can you give us more information on this? Do you want a shopping cart functionality or do you just need payment buttons to accept payment for an event? Once we have that information, we’ll be better able to advise.
