Transferring a domain

Hello,
I want to transfer a domain through GoDaddy to display my WordPress website. If I were to do that, would I be paying GoDaddy for the domain AND WordPress for the website, or would I transfer over just to WordPress? If it were all through WordPress, how much would that cost for the simplest plan?
