Transferring a domain from WordPress.com

    Hi, I need to transfer a domain crossfitvalleycenter.com which appears to be registered with wordpress.com. The domain is unlocked but I do not have access to an EPP. Is there any way to gain access to this information? The business partner with access the original registering account left the company and is not able to help me.

    Hi there,

    You will need to log into the account that owns crossfitvalleycenter.com in order to retrieve the domain. Neither you or the former business partner have access to the account connected to the domain?

    I checked r and crossfitvalleycenter.com is now in a redemption period. You can still renew your domain through us, but it is now a more expensive and complicated process to do so. Our registrar charges an $80 late renewal fee in addition to the $26 we charge to renew the domain. The good news is that this is still a chance of reclaiming the domain through this option.

    Your other option is to wait until the redemption period is over so that the domain becomes available for registration again. Domains are usually in redemption for approximately 80 days, but with this option, you run
    the risk of someone else jumping in front of you to purchase the domain before you get the chance.

    So, if you can get into that account, we can see what we can do in order to retrieve the domain.
