Transferring a domain into WordPress

Folks, my existing website and domain with another company is about to expire within 7 days. Is it possible (and how do I) transfer my existing http://www.graemehague.com.au domain and its associated email addresses to a Pro WordPress blog? In other words, I want WordPress to host my website/blog with a Pro ($99.00) package and my existing email addresses to transfer seamlessly over. Can it be done?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

and my existing email addresses to transfer seamlessly over. Can it be done?

Mostly – however each time things are changed there is a short time where the changes propagate across the internet and operation may be erratic (24 to 72 hours with changes usually starting after a few hours)

You can’t transfer a domain name into WordPress.COM – they are not set up at this time to accept incoming transfers.

You need a zone record added for graemehague.com.au – I have added it for you.

You can map graemehague.com.au to your blog here using the instructions below – be sure to read the part about “Before you move” – the Terms of service prohibit you from doing things like sell your own ads on your blog.

Thanks Auxclass, as always I’ve left this too late to resolve it properly, so I’ve simply renewed by other hosting. But I think I might still upgrade to Pro for those benefits. Another option is the WordPress plugin for my other website, but I have no idea how that might be applied. Perhaps I should post a query on this…

    Cheers, Graeme.
