Transferring a domain name

  I have the domain of Womentalking.co.uk can I transfer this name to a wordpress account.
  If so, how to I transfer the content of my existing website?
  Can I set the new website up first before the name is transferred across?

  WordPress.com can’t currently accept incoming transfers of .co.uk domains. You can however keep your domain where it is and map it to a WordPress.com site. You could create a free site here to give you time to set things up and then purchase a Personal plan or higher to enable you to map the domain when you were ready.
