Transferring a domain name AFTER buying a wordpress plan?

    if I buy a wordpress plan and transfer the domain name later (can’t be done now), does the plan still cover the registration cost for the 1st year (as advertised)?

    Hi –

    That’s a great question. Once you transfer a domain out of the WordPress.com ecosystem we no longer have any connection to it. The new domain registrar will require that you pay for that domain in some way. Does that help? Please write back with more questions. I’ve linked the plans below.
