Transferring a domain name from Squarspace

  I have a domain I want to transfer from Squarespace to my new WordPress site, and I have cleared advanced DNS settings, I have unlocked it, and I have an Auth-code from them, but I still can’t transfer it over. Is there a place to add the Auth-code in WordPress or What do I need to do? Thank you, Carmen McElhinney

  Hi there,

  You did not mention the domain but you are referring to spiralthrough.com yes? I can confirm the transfer has been initiated on our end, and it appears to be in-progress. You were able to enter your auth code some time after posting this, yes?

  I can confirm the domain status is currently pending_registry which is a good sign. It means that you have successfully entered the auth code to transfer, and we have relayed this info to the registry. Domain transfers are automated at this point, so we are waiting for the current registrar to release the domain and you should see it under your account soon.
