Transferring a website from another website builder

I have several questions about transferring our business’s website to WordPress. We currently use ITC Website Builder, but are considering transferring everything over to WordPress.
-Would it cost to transfer our domain?
-Could we transfer all of our content over from the other website builder to WordPress?
-We currently have email hosting on our other website builder. Is this transferable? Would there be down time on our email communications? If so, how long? Would all of our inbox content, files, etc. transfer?
-We use Pardot via Salesforce to develop our marketing emails. Could we get into the HTML code of the website to copy it over and develop an new template in Pardot?
-Can we set our blog to automatically post to social media? I think so…through the Sharing option?Thank you for your help.

I’ll be happy to answer all of your questions. First, I want to clarify on whether you are planning to transfer your site to WordPress.com or use the WordPress installation with a hosting company?
These are 2 very different options. At WordPress.com we manage the nitty-gritty-behind-the-scenes details that need attention to keep your site up and performing well. We also take care of the hosting, so there’s not an additional fee for that.
With the WordPress installation you have more customization abilities and you will be responsible for the management of the site. There’s not a dedicated support team available, although you can get help through your host and the public WordPress.org support forums.

Hello,
After reading the comparison page, it looks like we’ll be using WordPress.com rather than do the installation. We’d like to get into the details if we need to, but would rather have WordPress.com maintain the site, etc.

Yes, you’ll need to map the domain to your WordPress.com account. This can be done through our plan upgrades. See which one is right for you at wordpress.com/pricing/ You can upgrade or downgrade at any time. Plans are refundable for 30 days.

We have an importer tool to help with this. Here are the instructions:

Yes, you can move your email too. To do this you’ll edit the domain DNS records. See here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/add-email/

You won’t have access to the theme’s code.

Yes, you can use sharing and Publicize.
