Transferring a Website from Yell to WordPress

  Hi there,

  I’m currently looking to transfer a yell editor produced website to word press in order to start hosting it by myself. I was wondering if this were possible and what code/source I would need from yell in order to do this.

  Hi Beth,

  We don’t offer any import option for sites created with Yell’s builder, so this will depend on whether or not they offer a WordPress export option. If they do, you should be able to import it to a new WordPress.com site as explained here:

  Import a Website

  If they don’t offer a WordPress export file, the only way to move that site here would be to manually copy-paste all your content into new posts and pages on a site with us.

  If you also have a domain through Yell, you can connect it to your new WordPress.com site by either mapping it or transferring it to us (if it’s a TLD we’re able to transfer) through one of our paid plans.
