Transferring a Woo theme material into a WordPress premium theme

My Woo theme Canvas is being discontinued. I already have an account on WordPress.com and want to keep it. I just want to transfer from the Woo theme to a premium WordPress theme because a fully commercial theme like Storefront doesn’t seem a good fit.

Hi @elizabethannboyles! It sounds like what you are looking for is a WordPress.com Business Plan. It is the only WordPress.com option that will support WooCommerce.

Just to be clear, you’re currently using Canvas on your self-hosted WordPress site, and you now want to move to a different theme?
That’s not something we can help with, as your site is not hosted with us but using the open source WordPress software.
You should be able to buy any WordPress theme you find online and uploading it to your site at Themes ->Add New. For more help with that, please ask in the self-hosted WordPress forums:

If you specifically want to use one of the Premium Themes available on WordPress.com, please let me know which one and I can check for you if there exists a version of that theme that is compatible with the self-hosted WordPress software.
@cookgardensew, the OP is speaking about themes, not ecommerce. Canvas is a theme that was developed by WooCommerce back when they were still known as WooThemes, before they shifter over to ecommerce. -
