transferring a wordpress website through GoDaddy

  I’d like to transfer my WordPress website that I have through GoDaddy. I’m having extreme difficulty getting it to be a good website because when I want to do something GoDaddy makes me purchase upgrades. Multiple purchases I’ve got nothing to show for it. Help?

  There are differences between the standalone WordPress software running on a webhost and WordPressdotcom. So before you move anything, you may want to read these Support docs to make sure WordPressdotcom is a good fit for your needs:
