Transferring a WP website content to a new URL

  I have a WP platform where I want to transfer the content to a new URL so I can build a new WP website on the current URL. Is it as simple as going into my admin screen and under Tools entering the existing URL & then the new URL?

  Hi there!

  I’m not sure what exactly are you trying to achieve. What is that current URL you are referring to?
  I can see one site under your account: http://maintenancetroubleshootinginternationaltheleaderinhandsonmainte.wordpress.com. If you would like to create a new site, with a new address, you can go to My Site>Add a new site. Then, you’ll be able to export and import the content to the new site.
