Transferring an .org.uk site and email to WordPress

  We will soon be getting a paid WordPress site. Can domain registration be transferred for our domain ‘.org.uk’ to WordPress?
  If it can, can we also add an email forwarder MX record within WordPress from ‘mail @ .org.uk’ to my Gmail address? We do not need ‘Professional Email’.

  My angle-brackets didn’t come out in the original question. The domain is ‘name.org.uk’ and the email address ‘mail @ name.org.uk’.

  We’re unable to accept transfers in of .uk domains at this time.

  However, you can still use that domain here at WordPress.com by purchasing one of our paid plans and connecting that domain to your site:

  https://wordpress.com/support/domains/connect-existing-domain/

  Once you’ve done so, you would be able to set an email forward by following the steps here:

  https://wordpress.com/support/add-email/email-forwarding/
