Transferring an upgrade to a different user?

  I have recently taken over a wordpress site from a colleague. The site has an upgrade associated with it to map a custom domain. That upgrade will expire in a few days and I’m trying to figure out how to map the upgrade renewal to a new user and credit card. I don’t see any buttons under My Upgrades to make this happen.

  How do I do this?

  The staff can move it for you if the Upgrade owner logs into this thread and using small clear words asks for the upgrade(s) to be moved to a specific account,

  The Upgrade owner can transfer them to you also,

  Dashboard >> Store >> My Upgrades >> and click on the Transfer option and follow the instructions and follow the instructions EXACTLY and be careful with the spelling

  I will also flag this for staff attention in case you need additional help

  Hi there,

  Only the person who owns the upgrade (i.e. the person who purchased it originally) can renew it. As auxclass mentioned, staff can transfer an upgrade to a new account for you. We just need the current upgrade owner to contact us to request that transfer. Then, the new upgrade owner can renew it.

  Howdy Folks,

  How do we go about “contacting you”? I can only find posting in public support forums.

  In any case, I’ve sat on this and now the domain name upgrade has expired. I’m trying to purchase it and the domain name is already registered to an account.

  I’ll ask the upgrade owner to post on the support forums.

  We’ve removed the expired domain mapping upgrade, so you’re welcome to purchase it yourself now. You can do that under Store > My Domains in the blog’s dashboard. We also have a full guide for domain mapping here: Map an Existing Domain
