Transferring and domain paying

  Hello everybody.

  My question is about my domain: http://www.damirock.com
  Firstly, i’ve ordered it a year ago via wordpress dashboard and for a year my blog has been hosted by WP and domain was registered to their servers.
  Recently, i’ve moved (changed nameservers and bought hosting) on other registar – so now i’ve got full-functional blog with own hosting.
  But the last problem left is who should i pay to extand my domain registration?
  Cuz for now in my old dashboard on damirock.wordpress.com it says i’ve got about 11 days till domain expire date (11th of June) and asks for renewal. But the renewal there includes wordpress services that i don’t need and i just want to cancel my deal with WordPress.com and pay just for domain registration.

  What should i do?

  WordPress.COM is one of the low cost registrars so you save money by keeping your domain registered here.

  You should be able to pick and choose or turn off the features you don’t want to renew. On the plus side – if you make an error almost anything can be refunded if you ask for the refund soon enough.

  As i can see in my dashboard, i can’t select what i want to pay for and what i don’t:

  this domain is already mapped to my own hosted blog at damirock.com and i just need domain registration

  You may be hosting your site elsewhere, but your domain is still registered through us.

  In this case, you’ll need to either renew your domain through us, or transfer to another registrar, but don’t let it expire.

  I have a similar kind of query:
  I already have a WordPress paid account.
  I have another already registered website that I want to bring in WordPress ASAP.
  Please let me know how should I initiate this?
  What information WordPress need from me about that website?
  Do WordPress need anything from current Domain Service Provider (registrar)?
  What will be the cost?

  I’m sorry but what does this mean? “WordPress paid account.”.

  There is no such thing here. We can purchase individual upgrades for free hosted WordPress.com blogs. Each upgrade is for a specific feature/function and each one applies only to one blog.

  is this enough to know only the DNS of current registrar?
  or
  anyother information/authentication is needed?
