Transferring Blogs

  Hi-

  I transferred my blog http://redmapblog.wordpress.com to my other blog http://redmapsblog.wordpress.com on Friday May 28. I received a message that it would take 24 hours to take effect. I checked my blog this morning and the changes did not take effect.

  I don’t know what you mean by “transfer”. Content cannot be autmatically moved from one wordpress.com blog to another wordpress.com blog. We must do that moving manually through export and import of the blog contents and blogroll links in two separate files.

  Please clarify exactly what you did. Did you export the contents and blogroll links out of redmapblog.wordpress.com and import then import them into redmapsblog.wordpress.com and then change the visibility of the redmapblog.wordpress.com blog to “private” to keep out search engines or not?
