Transferring Blogs

  I am transferring one blog to another. From the old site I went to “Tools” and found the export button. But when I go to the new site, there is nothing listed under Tools. In fact, there are only 6 categories in the dashboard (Posts, Media, Comments, Portfolio, Profile, Tools) which is less then I had access to on the old blog site (which have 14 different selections). What am I doing? I’d like to transfer this blog over, do I need to do it all manually?

  This support forum is only for support of free hosted WordPress.com blogs like this one http://fleetmaull.wordpress.com/ and your issue is with a WordPress.org install. You need to post to http://wordpress.org/support/
