Transferring Data

    Hello all,
    I’m wanting to design and set up a new word press but then transfer that data back onto my old word press. I’m wanting to do this because I don’t want to take my current website offline to make the changes but wanted to create a new word press but when everything is complete to then move everything back onto my old word press is this possible? if not is it possible to turn the website offline and having a notice to say what’s happening and somewhere else to go for the updates while it’s offline?

    Hi there!

    Ona free plan, there’s no way to display a “Coming soon” notice as you’ll need to use an external plugin for that and plugins require plan Business.
    You can, however, set your site as private temporarily. Here’s how you can do that:

    As for transferring one site to another, you’ll only be able to move the content – not your settings or design. So this may not be what you’re looking for.
