Transferring domain

  Hi There

  I bought a GoDaddy domain and i want to link it to my WordPress site, but it keeps telling me that i have to pay $96 for the premium plan.

  Is that necessary, can’t i just link it to my free wordpress account without paying the premium plan!

  It is necessary to have a paid plan to be able register or map a domain, it does not need to be plan Premium though.
