Transferring domain

I have a website already. I want to build a new website before transferring the domain. But I can’t get past stage 2 of the account set up process unless I opt to transfer the domain (and I’m not ready for that), or creating a new domain (which I don’t need to). So I’m stuck already and I’ve not even started!

You can use that address to build your site and when you’re done, you can then transfer your domain.

Yes, that sounds like a good suggestion.
But another complication has cropped up.
I was looking at the ‘Business plan’ option because I need to use a custom plugin. But it looks like you can have only one website per £20pm business plan.
So that’s a worry.
I’m concerned that it might be difficult (or expensive) to transfer the business plan across from the free domain to the existing domain when it’s transferred.
And even if that was straight forwards, I was planning to re-build two websites for 3 domains (I have .co.uk and .com in the same name), and if that’s not possible under the £20pm business plan, I think I might have to go back to the drawing board.

It’s not difficult to do that. Both upgrading to the Business plan and transferring your domain are easy procedures and we handle all the technical stuff.

Although plans are per site, you can have as many domains as you want pointing to the same site.
