transferring domain

  I want to create my website before I transfer the domain. I currently have it hosted somewhere else and want to continue until I have finalized my website with WordPress. How do I get passed the page where I need to transfer the domain prior to creating the website?

  Hi there,

  You are referring to your new WordPress.com site at https://southbayplanning.wordpress.com/ yes?

  If so you are welcome to continue to set it up and get it ready to ‘launch’ and then transfer your domain at that time. From what I can see here you have not actually started your transfer yet, and you are welcome to hold off on that for now, and focus on setting up your site instead.

  The transfer does not need to be completed until you are ready to launch your new WordPress.com site at southbayplanning.com, which will replace your old site with the new one you have set up here.
